Voice & Viewpoint Townhall: HATE and Our Communities of Color

April 18 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm PDT

Free

On Thursday, April 18th, Voice and Viewpoint, in collaboration with community leaders and stakeholders, will convene a special town hall event dedicated to addressing the pervasive issue of hate and its profound impact on our community. This open community discussion serves as a critical platform for individuals from all walks of life to come together, share their perspectives, and collectively confront the challenges posed by hate in our society.

During this town hall, participants will have the opportunity to engage in candid conversations about the various forms of hate, including racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, and religious intolerance, among others. Through facilitated dialogue and interactive sessions, attendees will explore the root causes of hate, its manifestations in different contexts, and the far-reaching consequences it has on individuals, families, and communities.

Furthermore, this event will provide a space for community members to share personal experiences of encountering hate and discrimination, fostering empathy, understanding, and solidarity among participants.
