Program Information

High blood pressure, also called hypertension, is blood pressure that is higher than normal. According to the Centers for Disease Control, hypertension disproportionately affects Black adults than other ethnic groups.

The Multicultural Health Foundation has developed an engaging initiative called the Heart and Soul Connection Program created for San Diego residents to learn more about hypertension disease and ways to make small life changes with long-term health benefits.

There is still time to register for this FREE program by contacting an MHF Community Health Worker representative at 619-915-6734 or by email at info@mhfwellness.org.
